Poland Introduces 0% Income Tax for Parents
Poland has rolled out a major financial relief measure for families. President Andrzej Duda has signed a new law granting a 0% personal income tax rate for parents with two or more children. The tax break applies to annual earnings of up to around $71,000 (140,000 zloty) per parent , covering biological, adoptive, and foster parents, as well as
legal guardians . The move aims to increase disposable income , encourage higher birth rates , and strengthen Poland’s future workforce amid demographic challenges. If successful, the policy could deliver a double win — immediate financial relief for families and long-term growth for the nation’s economy.
